This is an offer to enter into a contract with Valeria Cascaddan and Drop the Leash LLC Dog Training here after known as (the “Company”) for my participation in the K9 HomeSchool Program with Valeria Cascaddan. I agree that I am entering into a legally binding contract with the Company.
By checking the box, I agree that my participation in the K9 HomeSchool Program will be governed by the following terms and conditions:
Confidentiality: The Company respects my privacy and we must insist that I also respect our privacy, as well as that of fellow participants. During the program , confidential and proprietary information, plans, ideas, and trade secrets will be revealed by The Company and by participants. I agree that I will not share my access to this course with any other persons, except for family members living within my household. It will be made apparent when training resources may be directly shared with others, and what resources must be repurposed. By checking the box below, I acknowledge that all confidential material and information revealed to me is and remains the sole intellectual property of The Company or the participant who revealed it.
Financial Responsibility: We have made every effort to accurately represent the K9 HomeSchool Program and its potential. Every individual’s success depends on many factors, including his or her background, dedication, desire, motivation, and the nature of the dog. By checking the box below, I represent to the Company that payment of my fee will not place a significant financial burden on me or my family and that any decisions or actions I take in response to advice or information acquired in the K9 HomeSchool Program, and their consequences, are my sole responsibility.
Payments: By checking the box below, I acknowledge that I am making a commitment to pay the Company in exchange for the privilege of participating in the K9 HomeSchool Program.
Termination: The Company is committed to providing all K9 HomeSchool Program participants with a positive and productive experience. By checking the agreement box below, I agree that the Company, at its sole discretion, may limit, suspend, or terminate my right to participate in the K9 HomeSchool Program without forgiveness of any previous payments if I become disruptive or difficult to work with, fail to follow K9 HomeSchool Program guidelines, or if my behavior impairs the ability of instructors or fellow participants to participate in the K9 HomeSchool Program.
K9 HomeSchool Program Structure
Length: The program is 8 weeks from the time of your start date, though you will have access to the prerecorded video content for 1 year.
Tuition: The cost of the program is a one-time payment of $495 USD. Payment will be due before access to the Program will be granted. I understand that I have committed to the full length of the training program. I understand that I am responsible for payment in full regardless of whether I choose to complete the training program. There are no refunds after 48 hours of purchase and I have accessed the online content.
Online Classroom and Programs: You’ll have access to online curriculum for 1 year from date of purchase. Online courses are provided for you to work through at your own pace. You are expected to watch the lessons and participate in the homework when included in the lesson. For maximum program results, participation in the members only Facebook group is expected.
Group Coaching: This program includes weekly Zoom group meetings with other participants of the group for the duration of the program. Each meeting is approximately 1 hour in length, and is where we dig into the nitty gritty of what your unique journey looks like, and what actionable steps you need to take next, to make sure we are getting you and keeping you on the right path. For maximum program results, participation in the Live Zoom group meetings is expected.

Liability Waiver & Policies
Drop the Leash LLC Dog Training will endeavor to create as safe an environment as possible for the training of my dog and will offer only sound, safe, and responsible training and training instructions. However, to the extent that Drop the Leash LLC Dog Training and Valeria Cascaddan is insured for any unintentional or negligent errors, omissions, or incorrect assertions, Drop the Leash LLC Dog Training will be responsible for any such acts or omissions, but only to the extent of such insurance. I understand the inherent risks of owning a dog, including but not limited to the risk of dog bites to myself or others, and consequently I am and will remain responsible for the actions of my dog at all times, and I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Drop the Leash LLC Dog Training of any and all claims of injury, expense, costs, or damages caused by my dog. I understand that the recommendation of any other product or service is not a guarantee of my satisfaction with that product or service.
Photo & Video release: I grant permission to Drop the Leash LLC Dog Training and its legal representatives and assigns, the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use, publish and broadcast my photograph(s), likeness and voice, including via video, for trade, advertising, and any other purpose and in any manner and medium; and to alter the same without restriction. I hereby release Drop the Leash LLC Dog Training and its legal representatives and assigns from all claims and liability relating to said photograph(s), video(s), likeness and voice. By checking the box this contract I acknowledge that I am over the age of 18 years old.
Bite History Addendum to Training
1. Depending on the severity, aggression in dogs is a behavior problem that in some cases can result in serious injury or death to a person and / or animal.
2. A dog's behavior can be modified but aggression is never "cured" Genetics and environmental factors are just some of the things that can create, accelerate or exacerbate aggression.
3. A training and / or behavior modification K9 HomeSchool Program does not guarantee a change in the dog's behavior upon completion of the K9 HomeSchool Program.
4. The extent to which any training and / or behavior modification K9 HomeSchool Program is successful in creating a degree of change is dependent upon many factors. These are, but are not limited to, age, health, genetics, the length of time a dog has engaged in the behavior, the intensity of the behavior, past and current environments and interactions.
5. The extent to which any training and / or behavior modification K9 HomeSchool Program is effective is dependent upon the undersigned and all other interested parties ability to adhere to, practice and carry out the behavior modification plan, which includes managing and supervising all of the dog's environments and interactions.
6. The safety of any and all people and animals that come into contact with the dog is paramount and is the sole responsibility of the undersigned and all other interested parties.
7. All dogs can and will bite under circumstances that they deem appropriate and following the methods, techniques, education, training plan and management and supervision explained by Drop the Leash LLC Dog Training is not a guarantee that the dog will not now nor ever in the future bite or bite again.
8. The undersigned and all other interested parties take full responsibility of the dog(s) and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Drop the Leash LLC Dog Training in the event that the dog(s) should bite at any time in the future.
9. The undersigned and all other interested parties agree to indemnify and hold harmless Drop the Leash LLC Dog Training from any and all claims for personal injury, property damage, legal costs or any other claim due to the action, or inaction, of the undersigned and any other interested parties including but not limited to any level of bite or attack to any person and / or animal.
I recognize that I am responsible for the actions of the dog(s) named within this contract at all times and hereby indemnify and hold harmless Drop the Leash LLC Dog Training from any and all claims of injury, expense, costs or damages caused by the action of the dog(s) named within this contract. I further recognize that legal information is not the same as legal advice and that it is my responsibility to seek professional legal advice regarding my situation.
To the extent that any person(s) and / or entity (ies) is / are, in whole or part, the owner(s) / guardian(s) of the dog(s) named within this contract or otherwise have such interest in the dog(s) named within this contract, the undersigned hereby represents and warrants that the undersigned has the power and authority to enter into this addendum on their behalf and to bind any such person(s) and / or entity(ies) to the terms hereof, and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Drop the Leash LLC Dog Training from any all claims made by any such person(s) and / or entity(ies) with respect to this addendum.
About Guarantees
I am a member of The Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers and as part have pledged to refrain from providing guarantees regarding the specific outcome of training, and for very good reason—it is unethical to do so. The behavior of another organism cannot be guaranteed.
This contract is validated by the checked boxes in agreement contained within total and as approval for future services without additional written authorization.
